34 Back to the City Core to traide

The Stone of Recal, ie the smooth rock Aribeth had given me lived up to its name and teleported me via magic back to the Temple of Tyr! Haa haa! neat homing device! We then went through the city and I met this courtesan wearing neat clothing on the corner next to the notorious Moonstone Mask premesis, shownin the picture. Ah but when I was there Neverwinter had passed the Hak-Pac legislation allowing greater freedom, though this is not the origional law of Neverwinter and was developed by Neverwinter Adventurers! Rumors are Aribeth has a whole army of Adventurers looking for her snaggleblasted WaterwetDivian creatures - must be half the city by now! anyway the concubine who i think was called Shaldrissa and a visitor to the city for excitement seemed to have got some weird disease somehow. She called me a rabbit. but its was no time for gossip because I had to just had to visit Durga the hunk to sell him my loot. At his shop I flogged the lot, remembering not to sell my weapons! hah haa a few fell for that old one! And I sold Durga some sloppy mushy firebeetle bellys that ahhh i had carved from the dead...he thought that was quite cool! I tried to sell him some celestial elixior but he didnt want it saying it was mysteriously otherworldy or somesuch hog-wash. Beside some hooker-scrubber had been going around all sing-song asking after it! hmmm a mystery there. But is was not a reagent for Marrok alas. So I now had the gold to get an amulet +1 natural armor (ie its reliable) and a ring +1 deflection armor (ie its not, and would clash with a cloak +1 AC). but who cares as putting on my new toys boosted my Armor class by 2 points making my A/c a fair 23. Feeling empowered now.
